- To have your official transcripts from a California Community College evaluated by the Transcript Evaluation Office (TEO) please click here.
- If you plan to take classes requiring prerequisites that you completed at another school click here. The Transcript Evaluation Office processes prerequisites.
- If you applied and are attending in fall 2024, you can book an appointment in Starfish in mysbcc.edu.
- Priority registration for New Transfer in students begins December 10.
How to meet with an Academic Counselor:
- The Academic Counseling Center will begin offering advanced remote appointments (Google Chat/Zoom) to incoming transfer students who have attended other colleges/universities and who have applied to SBCC for the Spring 2025 semester.
- You will be able to fill out the Google request form Nov. 25. We will begin calling students to set up a remote appointment Dec. 2.
- You must have applied to SBCC for Spring 2025,
- have your SBCC student ID number,
- be able to login to your campus email,
- upload copies of transcript(s) from all schools attended (or have official transcripts on file at Admissions and Records)
At this appointment we will assist you in creating an educational plan, and help you start the transcript evaluation process. Comprehensive evaluations of official transcripts may take 1-2 weeks for some classes, and 3 months for others, based on where the courses were taken and which department needs to evaluate them: an academic department faculty at SBCC, Transcript Evaluation Office (TEO), or Articulation Office.
For coursework completed outside of the California Community College system having a course syllabus (course outline/program of study) can often speed up the evaluation process and will be required for Math and English if they have not been reviewed prior.
